Bunkered.co.uk is the digital sister platform for the Bunkered Golf Magazine – the largest selling golf title in Scotland.

The brief

We were approached to refresh the existing word mark and consolidate other entities into the Bunkered ‘master brand’. There was a desire to modernise the identity whilst also reflecting a broader outlook.

What we did

We kept the magazine masthead front of mind when redesigning the master word mark to ensure the title had presence and stand-out on-shelf.

We created a bold and streamlined identity, using negative space to introduce a club head graphic that would instantly convey Bunkered’s passion for the game of golf. The typography was created at an angle to portray the forward momentum of a club swing, while embodying Bunkered’s ambitious outlook for the future.

The emboldened identity not only strengthened the visual presence of the brand but also helped reinforce its position as the leading voice in Scottish golf.
