Evolving your business shouldn’t cost the earth. That’s why we’re delighted to continue helping Glasgow-based organisations through the Glasgow City Council’s 2025 Business Growth Programme – a multi-lot framework that aims to encourage and support growth in the Glasgow business ecosystem.
As part of the framework, under “Green Business Support”, we offer fully funded, tailored social and environmental sustainability support to guide your business’s journey, whatever stage you are at. We’re available to help you through (wholly funded) bespoke full- and half-day workshops and 1:1 consultancy.
We know no two businesses are the same. No matter what sector you are in or where you are on your own journey, we will meet you there and get you where you need to be with speed, rigour and enthusiasm. We make sure the information you receive is relevant, accessible and actionable by consulting you via an online survey and conducting thorough sector and business-specific research before we meet. This allows us to have a deep understanding of your business and what matters to you.
But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s just some of the great testimonials we received from our 2024 participants:
“Material provided an excellent workshop. We gained a great deal of knowledge and guidance which was delivered with enthusiasm by their team. They had thoroughly researched our business and produced plans tailored to our circumstances. The process was interactive and relevant to our own business, and we now have a clear path forward on our ESG journey.”

“The sustainability workshop was incredibly insightful and provided practical strategies for reducing environmental impact, both in our festival venues and in the workplace. The team at Material were knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about driving positive change in the industry. I left with a toolkit to help implement sustainable changes in the future and would highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to start their net zero journey.”

“Material was able to support us in thinking about communications in another light and approaching our strategy differently. In turn, highlighting SES business activities we are extremely proud of and should be communicating better.”
