Consistently attracting a world-class field, the ASI Scottish Open is a jewel in the European Tour’s crown. Our communication and content expertise ensure the accompanying promotional campaign remains on a level par.

We are about to enter our third consecutive ASI Scottish Open campaign, with our client, the  European Tour. Our brief was to manage and create engaging content for the official tournament channels, as well as deliver PR support for the Communications arm of the tournament team. Key pre-tournament announcements, like player announcements, were seen as important drivers for ticket sales, and we played a key role in boosting coverage in both local and national media. 

Our creation of the content series Meet Renaissance, which was developed to “open the gates” and to introduce the relatively new venue to the golfing world. It was pivotal to growing an engaged audience, with the series reaching a golfing audience of over a half million in Scotland. 

Over the last two years, the tournament has grown in stature and is now an established Rolex Series event in the golfing calendar. The official tournament channels have seen significant growth, more than doubling in size since we began our work with the European Tour. 

The tournament itself, over the past two campaigns, have both broken attendance records, with the 2019 crowd, the largest since records began.
